What Is Our Homeless Resource Center?

Solano Dignity & Care creates a homeless resource center experience that brings together local organizations, nonprofits, and community partners in one place. Our goal is to improve access to essential resources by helping individuals connect with trusted support systems available throughout Solano County.

Rather than providing services directly, we focus on collaboration—making it easier for individuals to learn about available resources, receive guidance, and build connections within the community.

Homeless Resource Center in Vallejo & Fairfield

Our homeless resource center efforts take place in Vallejo and Fairfield, helping connect individuals to a wide range of community-based resources. By bringing multiple organizations together in one location, we make it easier for people to access support, information, and guidance without navigating multiple systems on their own.

These efforts strengthen community connections and improve awareness of available resources across Solano County.

How the Homeless Resource Center Works

Our homeless resource center brings multiple organizations together in one place so attendees can explore available resources, speak with participating partners, and make informed next steps. This collaborative approach helps reduce confusion and improves access to trusted community information.

How We Uplift Our Community

Bringing People Together

Bringing Care to Those Needing it Most

Our Foundation’s Mission is to provide homeless outreach services that empower and uplift vulnerable populations. Specifically, we offer food, clothing, medical care, and social services. Additionally, we provide behavioral health support, spiritual care, and stable housing assistance.

We deliver these services in two tangible ways: through our bi-annual event, Dignity Day, and our monthly basic needs pop-up event. Discover more about our homeless assistance services, read about our team and mission, or contact us today to get involved.

Restore Dignity

Volunteers are at the heart of Dignity Day, helping to provide support to the unhoused.
You can also donate to help make Dignity Day possible.

Most volunteers escort our guests and spend time getting to know them. As a result, the conversations that occur are a huge blessing to both the volunteer and our guests.

Paula Vargas
Volunteer

I began volunteering to serve on Dignity Day in 2021.  I have been able to build relationships with individuals, share the word of God with them, and encourage them to have faith, trust God, and believe that God will change their lives and their circumstances.

Each time I volunteer to serve others my heart is filled with joy, hope, and compassion, and I feel closer to Christ following in His footsteps. Matthew 25:40, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
