During Dignity Day
Dignity Day is a one-day event in which multiple service providers and non-
profits gather together and provide care to our community of unhoused in Solano County.
We need volunteers (Ambassadors) from local churches to partner with our unhoused guests and help them navigate the different service provider stations.
You don’t need special skills—just a heart that loves, an ear to listen, and a spirit of
compassion, patience, and the willingness to walk alongside someone and learn.

Most volunteers are used as “Ambassadors”. They escort our unhoused guests to the different service provider and non-profit stations and the conversations that occur are a huge blessing to both the volunteer and the participant.
