Have a Story to Share from Dignity Day?

I began volunteering to serve on Dignity Day in 2021. It has been a pleasure and a
blessing to serve the unhoused on Dignity Day and to serve at the shelter on Fridays. I have been able to build relatonships with individuals, share the word of God with them, and encourage them to have faith, trust God, and believe that God will change their lives and their circumstances.
Each time I volunteer to serve others my heart is filled with joy, hope, and compassion, and I feel closer to Christ following in His footsteps. Matthew 25:40, “Whatever you did
for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
It’s important to realize that these are God’s children and we are no better than them. I
will continue to volunteer, share God’s word, bless others, and share the love of God!
